Linear Output Signal over 120 degree (AN1) or 360 degree (AN8) maximum travel without the need for electrical compensation.
Cherry presents with AN1 and AN8 two new sensors for non-contact angular position sensing. The devices´ magnet/ sensor orientation provides intrinsically linear output over 120 degree (AN1) or 360 degree (AN8) maximum travel without the need for electrical compensation. In its standard version the sensor is provided with a programmed output or end-user re-programmable to eliminate mechanical and process tolerances in the final assembly.
The benefits of this product are especially for such requirements and or quantities which do not allow the development of an individual application solution for economic reasons. Both AN1 and AN8 is completely encapsulated and delivered ready for assembly. The sensor-module is protected according to IP67 and applicable in a temperature range from –40°C to + 85°C (+ 125°C optional). Other features include programmable offset, gain, temperature compensation, and clamping voltage. The sensor is available as a module with the magnet integrated in the housing, or with the magnet as a separate part for individual mounting.
